Masai Mara budget Safari: Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

Details

Departing from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi at 7:30am or on your arrival, we drive down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arriving at the camp in time for lunch. After lunch you relax in permanent tents that are self-contained and fitted with feature beds and en suite bathroom areas. In the afternoon we take our first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Diner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp

Today you will spend the day game viewing in this finest wildlife park with breakfast, lunnch and diner breaks. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On a clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Maasai Mara reserve is 1510 km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass .Balloon trips can be arranged at extra cost. Today we will have an early breakfast and depart from our safari camp and proceed with a morning game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve. We will drive back to Nairobi, arriving at about 15:00 in the afternoon. you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice or at the airport for your onward flight
